Brazilian GP in Interlagos is one of the classic round of F1 campionship, located at the South of Sao Paulo city it has been for the last 2 year the GP that has elected the new driver world champion.

The Interlagos circuit has created some of the most exciting and memorable races in recent Formula One history, and is regarded as one of the most challenging and exciting circuits on the F1 calendar. Along with Spa-Francorchamps, it is rare in that the circuit in its modern form is one of the few with a lengthy history in the sport not considered to have lost much of its mystique or challenge in its adaptation for the modern.

QUALIFYING RESULTS

Everybody was curious to see how many drivers were back after the long unforseen summer break, we got 21 partecipants which is not bad but only 2 of them are from Olympic team: JuanFran and Walter976.
The pole was clinched by Okan Kukner (welcome back mate!) followed by a great JuanFran in 2nd position, 3rd place is for an always fast Locutus. To find Walter976 you have to go down 10th position.

RACE RESULTS

With only 2 Olympic drivers against 7 from LRT we start this race with few chances to decrease the gap between the teams, JuanFran was on 3 pits strategy while Walter976 was on 2.
T1 was something similar to a carnage with a lot of touches, spins and wings flying everywhere, JuanFran had no problem to avoid them as he was in 2nd place but Walter976 had nearly to stop the car between T1 and T2 to be able to avoid all cars, luckly I had no damage at all!

First part of the race was an exciting battle between Okan and JuanFran, the gap has been less than 1 sec until lap 17 when JuanFran made a mistake on the turn before the long straight, no damage but he lost about 5 seconds from the leader, it was the only mistake for him.
Walter976 jumped from 10th to 7th position thanks to some retirements and his strategy, a spin on lap 45 followed by a crash (front wing lost) against Locutus while returning on track (sorry mate) made him arriving in 9th place.

JuanFran finished in 4th position has he lost time due to the 3 pit-stops against the 2 stops strategy of the drivers in front of him, Okan, Locutus and Danny3L.

Not a great result for the team, we hope to see more drivers showing up on the next round, the brand new track of Abu Dhabi.
TYKA decided to recover one of the missed race, it will be the faboulos SPA and will be done just after Abu Dhabi, JuanFran has nearly won the driver championship whilr Olympic team is still 2nd in the team standings.
