The Monaco Grand Prix run since 1929, it is widely considered to be one of the most important and prestigious automobile races in the world alongside the Indianapolis 500 and the 24 Hours of Le Mans (with which it forms the Triple Crown of Motorsport). The history, spectacle and glamour result in the race being considered “the jewel of the Formula One crown”.
The race is held on a narrow course laid out in the streets of Monaco, with many elevation changes and tight corners as well as a tunnel, making it one of the most demanding tracks in Formula One. In spite of the relatively low average speeds, it is a dangerous place to race.
QUALIFYING RESULTS
Everybody knows how important is to start in front in Monaco GP so the competition was again really tight.7 drivers are representing our team, and for once Juan is not our fastes one! Congratulation to Tictac who got the 3rd position, JuanFran is 4th than we have quite close Zoneur 6th, Avni Tumay 7th and Riaan_O 8th (well done to our new team member!).
Me, Walter976 18th and Frank87 24th are closing the list of Olympic team.
To be mentioned that the turkish team PROF1TR is growing well getting 1st, 2nd and 5th places, very nice guys.
Also very important to notice that LRT doesn’t have any drivers on top 10 for the first time on this league, good new for us but let’s see the race…
RACE RESULTS
Monaco race is impredictable, nearly impossible to overtake and a small lack of concentration will lead having the cars against the wall on this very narrow track.Only 7 out of 21 drivers were able to bring the car to the finish line, for Olympic our “heroes” are Tictac and JuanFran finished respectively 2nd and 3rd, brilliant results, congratulation to both of them, a big thanks from all team members!
Avni and Frank87 didn’t even start (scared? lol), me, Walter976 was out after only 10 laps, Riaan-O at lap 19 and Zoneur after 52 laps.
Caner from PROF1TR got the victory, LRT is 4th, 5th and 7th with Tyger, Ricardo and Bryan (more than 2 hour race for him!), Kostas from EU RACERS is 6th.
Looking to the team standing LRT is now having 1047 points, Olympic 1014 than we have PROF1TR with 440.
On the drivers standing JuanFran has increased his lead having 426 points, Ricardo is 2nd with 378 and Okan 3rd with 351, all still very close.
The fight is very interesting even down where we’ve got Inigo 6th, Avni 8th, Tictac 9th, Walter976 13th and Zoneur 15th, who will be our best driver after the Juan? Still a long way to run, we’ll see.
