The Bahrain, Sakhir circuit is positioned in the middle of a desert, there were worries that sand would blow onto the circuit and disrupt the race, however organizers were able to keep the sand off the track by spraying an adhesive on the sand around the track.
The circuit has the reputation of being one of the best circuits in Formula One for overtaking, in 2007 the circuit became the first Grand Prix circuit to be awarded the distinguished FIA Institute Centre of Excellence award, given for excellent safety, race marshal, and medical facilities; and for the high standards of technology required to maintain these.
QUALIFYING RESULTS
Ooopppss, he did it again… JuanFran is in pole!!! This time wth a huge gap from the 2nd FaustoP (finally another italian in Tyka LOL), tremendous, Juan is really getting the feeling, who can stop him?But the team is not only Juan, we have 2 other drivers on top 5 with a brilliant Zoneur 3rd and Tictac 5th, very nice to see how many we are on top of the list, very promising for the race.
The boss Inigo is 8th, confirming his improved performances with his new G25, Avni_Tumay is 11th, myself Walter976 14th with no much time for testing.
Another 2 Olympic drivers are classified, our new member Frank87 20th and Ambadar 24th, keep testing guys and you’ll notice improvements soon.
RACE RESULTS
Again victory!!! Again JuanFran is 1st!!! Pole position and victory, Juan is spoiling us, the victory could be much clearer if it wasn’t for fact that he lost brakes at few laps to go and nearly lost his deserved 1st place (read comment for more details). Congratulations mate, well done, fantastic. The team in general scored other points with Inigo 5th and me Walter976 7th, unfortunately I lost 6th place at 3 laps to go, see comment on this article, grrrr.
All other drivers made DNF, Avni_Tumay having a problem with his wheel (see comment, hope you can fix it soon!), Tictac and Zoneur crashing into each other ending the race on the same turn after just few laps, Tictac spun and Zoneur couldn’t aviod him, not their fault, race accident… very unlucky.
Good things is that also LRT had some trouble during race, best one is Ricardo 4th (also problem with brakes for him) and Tygernoot 6th (flat tyre as conseguence of the accident of Tictac and Zoneur), we are now leading by 110 points.
Juan is now leader of the driver standings but there are rumors that his big rivals Okan will be back in action from next round, we’ll see, more fun will come.
Finally one weekend of break now, next round will be on Spain in Barcelona (Inigo home!), the race will be on 17th May so let’s get some relax, recharge the batteries as we all need to be ready to fight again soon! See you on track as usual!

Hi!
This race was going very hard in slow corners, lot of bumping sites, 2 stops here too complicated for my driving style. My brakes on 6 laps to end was really damaged on my car, and I dont lost the first position because the second was going on 32 seconds almost behind me…, If my diference respect the second driver not was too big, maybe I obtain 4 or 5 place :P, but anyway I have lucky because Ricardo Ferreira was very quikly behind me when the brakes was fucked I went off track almost 3 times, he was winning lot of gap respect me but he do also a great mistake for brakes and tyres… losing the 2th position and 3th… unlucky for him, because maybe he won this race. Anyway, very successfully I finished! I am very happy, 3 races consecutives finished’s, it is more important that win.
cu to the next mates!

Had a great launch got up a few positions. My brake bias was not helpful since i was sliding all over the place. Having more fuel affected everything. Due to electrical problems with my secondary control, my car went into neutral half way through the straight then when i shifted to first lost the rear smack into the wall it was all over. Well done to the drivers who finished the race. Looking foward to Spain an awesome track and so are most of Spains ladies as well;)

Hi!
I had to qualify on Wednesday (I was busy on Friday) hoping to make a good time and partecipate to heat 1, by luck I did it, 14th place, last one with just +0.050 to CasH relegated to heat 2. Pppffff…
I know I had an acceptable pace and could leave some drivers behind me, a small touch with another car on lap 1 but nothing serious, gained some position than I started to make some small mistakes going wide several time. Better to calm down and drive clean.
Very sad to see Tictac and Zoneur (AMA!) disappear as well as Avni, some drivers were with 1 pit strategy so positions were not clear until getting to last 18-15 laps to go where I was 6th.
Unfortunately for me I had Tygernoot behind me which was faster, he got very close at 4 laps to go and one lap later I made a mistake feeling under pressure and finishing the race on 7th place at +3 sec from him.
At the end not a bad result considering the few testing on this circuit, looking forward for Spain!
