Nordschleife, aerial view of a small track section on the forest For the third round of the championship we moved to Germany where around the small village of Nürburg there is the Nürburgring race track with a modern GP race track and an old north loop (called “Nordschleife”) which was built in the 1920s.
We are going to race on Nordschleife track, simply known as “The Ring” by enthusiasts, and nicknamed “The Green Hell” by Jackie Stewart, it is widely considered the toughest, most dangerous and most demanding purpose-built race track in the world.
It will be a great experience for every driver as there are no track like this around the human world, at least once in your life you have to do it, every lap will be 22,810 km of insane racing, good luck to everybody!

QUALIFYING RESULT

Unfortunately this race is scheduled during Christmas holidays, many people could not do much practice and this is without doubts the track that needs more practice than any others because of his tremendous lenght and complexity.
On P1 we’ve got 3 drivers, Durielk is greatly 3rd having already raced on this track, Josè Espinosa is following him on 4th place while Kamilo62 is 9th with the perfect time of 9:00.000 LOL. Both Frozen and Bogdanis (1st and 2nd) seems to be way faster repect to the rest of the pack.
Walter976 is 8th on P2 which looks to be the most competitive class for this race, we’ve got other 2 drivers Nemesis 17th with very few practice time and Avni_Tumay 19th having also not tested much and with some serious connection/lag problem.
Last to be mentioned is our Bartix on GT2 that clinched a wonderful 4th place not so far from the top place and keeping behind experienced drivers like MasterD, Soyer or Chacal.

RACE RESULT

Probably the most awaited race of all the league, all are curious to see what will happen, many crashes are expected.
There was a first try to do a single heat with 43 drivers but due to some last minutes problems noticed with the grid (too small…) the decision was to split in 2 heats.

Unfortunatly 3 of our qualified drivers were not showing for the race, Durielk made confusion with the race date (omg!), Avni_Tumay took the decision to avoid racing due to his lag problems, we hope he can fix them really soon. Josè Espinosa is simply disappeared, where are you mate?

NORDSCHLEIFEHEAT 1
On heat 1 we’ve got 3 drivers and all of them have been able to complete the race, AMAZING!

Let’s start with Bartix on GT2, he went for a conservative strategy and it worked. An easy start letting pass some drivers to avoid big lag problems (some freezing where anyway appearing), after a clean first laps he started pushing from lap 3 when the game was going more fluently.
On lap 2 he overtook Taxi who had a bad damaged car than on lap 6 he was on the pit together with Soyer managing to exit in front of him. The rest of the race was quite easy, all GT2 drivers went out so he avoided any damaging to the car reaching the chequered flag having done a clean race finishing 10th on the heat. Congratulation, this guy know well what consistency is!
Nordschleife, Bartix exiting the hell for the last time

Nemesis had a nice start with his P2 car overtaking few drivers when still on F1 part of the track, unfortunately for him he was struggling to remember all curves of this very long track (not much testing as said), some of them are really tricky and dangerous so he collected some spins and some not enjoyable curbs riding (very high on this track).
A part of the race was nice passing Snakey and Zunik but then a lost of concentration together with lack of track confidence made him smashing into a wall and had to trail round for most of the lap with no front wing, his car was with damage all across it so he just made sure he finished all be it a lap down and with three unscheduled pitstops.
He managed to reach the finish line placed 9th on the heat.

The best Olympic driver this time was Walter976, his setup was stable and he was also confident with the track, all was in place for a nice result.
Nordschleife, Holzer hitting Walter976 on the starting grid The start was something similar to a nightmare, Holzer hitted him hardly from the back when he was just leaving his grid place, the car spun but fortunately there was no damage, from the very back of the pack he begun to reach and overtake several drivers being carefull on the forest where it is really difficult to pass.
When he got at around 6th place he was right behind Veldt who braked earlier than he expected on the curve that leaves the F1 track, to avoid a contact he went on the grass in a nasty inclined place, it took about 20 secs to get the car back on track risking to burn his motor.
From that moment he started to drive well and secure, he overtook Zunik that had a damaged car and reached the 4th place, second part of the race was just taking care to avoid mistakes, Rinker was in front and was doing similar lap times but the gap was too big due to all the time lost at start, he ended 4th on the heat, nice result!

The heat has been won by a superb Frozen on P1 followed by P2s BIzadfar and Rinker, only half of drivers were able to finish the race.

NORDSCHLEIFEHEAT 2
Only 7 finishers on the second heat, our Kamilo62 is not one of them.
His race finished on lap 5 due to an accident, he got the 3 consecutive DNF, take more care when driving mate, you need to get some consistency and remember: if you want to finish first… first you have to finish! LOL

The heat has been won by Bogdanis who is doing really well on the league, 2nd was RustyM and 3rd Arti both on P2, a lot of top P2 drivers got a DNF like the brothers Mymini and Ibrahim Patel.

————————————————————

Let’s have a look to the driver standing now on P1 we didn’t score any point and we are not sure even if some drivers will continue to partecipate to the league like Inigo Otermin, Massi Kaillera or Juan Fran. The leader is Bogdanis followed by Frozen and CasH, from 8th to 11th place we have Inigo Otermin, Durielk, Zoneur and Josè Espinosa.
On P2 is getting better with Nemesis 5th and Walter976 7th, while Bartix on GT2 is still fighting for the leadership, actually he’s in 2nd place at just 10 points from the leader MasterD.

We now move to USA, the next race is on Mid Ohio circuit, see you there and keep pushing guys!
